In numerous literary and folkloric traditions, An Odyssey is defined as a protracted journey or experience where an individual undergoes a quest in order to find and or achieve his life purpose or goals. Habana Blues Mosaic is an addendum to Elio’s album Standing by the Crossroads that serves as a narrative of Elio’s personal odyssey of his life as a young man growing up on the Island as well as his development as an artist in both Cuba and in the States.
